Application for Artist/Modeller
« on: September 02, 2009, 05:06:02 PM »
Hi, Id like to apply for the role of artist/texturer/modeller.

I work in a 3D Animation Company as a modeller/artist, this is some of my own work done in my spare time.

I normally work to a high res for my day job but I can scale down the way I work to suit game engine limitations.

I love WW2 equipment and particularly Russian Tanks :D

If I hesitate, its because I'm busy cranking my jaw back into place. Those.... are.... awesome!

We already have a full compliment of modellers, but we'd be insane not to accept such quality into our team. High quality models with high quality skins like you have presented here could well make this mod 1000% better. ;D

Have you got any more examples of your work?

Are you able to produce this kind of image for us?

That painting is beyond belief... I already have the image in my head of us doing Tales of Valour type cut-scenes for the campaign we're planning.  ;)
I was actually going to suggest this myself and try my hand at it since I went out yesterday and bought a (new) Pen Tablet. I've tried my hand at digital art a lot of times and failed, so the most I have done for the group is a couple of Photomanip's. Some digital paintings would elevate us towards the gods...

Also, that IS-2... crikey. If you told me it was just a photo of a scale model, I'd believe you.

I could certainly try :)

Im not the most experienced at digital art but its something that i am working on improving. I love the cut scenes in TOV, really inspirational stuff
