Hi guys,
I say it today : the red army is fucking cheat in the game !!
In the beggin, they can play with 5 squad and kill lot of fucking volk squad.
Without micro.
When they have the mp40, they can win against the cheaper red army's unity O_o !
And after one fucking little IS-2 is STRONGER than a tiger vet 3 !
What the fuck ?
And more ! the red army can build one IS-2 all the 90 second...
For nothing.

IS-2 and guarder without micro, just spam, and they win !
Against IS-2 :
shrek = do nothing
Pak = do nothing
Tiger = do nothing
Faust = do nothing.
Ans axis can have ONE fucking Tiger for 1'000mp, or the red army can have all it want IS-2, and it's a very cheap tank.
It's a good mod, a good dib job, BUT It's really not balanced !
Ans i'm not a bad player (See iEventreur in the rank), but it's too hard for axix to win.

Hahahahah...now all the noobs realize how OP this is. Seriously who builds mg bunkers besides noobs? That ISU sh1t can kill a panzer in 2 hits... A KT takes at least 4 to kill a sherman...and theres really no end to their spam. The first 10 minutes of the game are GREAT and INTENSE as hell...10/10 on that...the map control is totally balanced and up for the superior player...but then after that the USSR just overpowers you with tank spam...

i took out an is-2 with only a squad of anti tank grenadiers in a halftrack assisted by a few shots from a pak, it took a long ass chase and alot of microing though, but eventually it died, try 88's and henschells

are you kidding me the Russian tanks need to be buffed. Why don't you play a lot before creating a giant moron topic. There tanks are completely useless almost and inaccurate that's tere problem

i killed 2 flak 36s with only 1 ingenery squad with body armor and dual flamers i didnt lose any men and the squads toal health was 80% afterwards

T-34's without their upgrade get mauled by pak's. Regarding the IS-2 however, I was able to defeat a King Tiger using micro and an SU-85.

The russians are MAD OP right now, ive been playing all day with over 10 people, we all agree that balance badly needs to be adressed, i still have high hopes for this mod because of the hard work and dedication. Things that are OP are:
1v1 russia vs PE, Russians can make 3 sniper squads for 250mp each (way to cheap) and decimate PE inf thats a quick gg
russian morter is OP, it needs to fire much slower and be more accurate OR make it back into a normal morter round instead of howie round
Russian ISU-152 needs to be a 1 time call in for 500mp and make sure the CP build up to it is the same as KT and JAG because of its massive damage and massive armor
The IS-2 Is also OP, the fuel count is fine but it needs to at least be the same manpower count as the panther because of its overall power.
Those are just a few of the very obvious fixes that must be enabled to save this Mod
KEEP IN MIND, RELIC is NOT going to adjust the rest of COH for this mod, the modders will have to adjust their faction based on RELICS version of coh. I have faith EF modders will get it done.

i had one squard of mp40s. one mg, dimed them down, a motar ffirign on them and a flamer. an commander squard another squard and 2 russian pios, charged and killed everything thne killed another mg. .. not being able to surpsed them long enough. i could not stop them in any way..
by the time i had 2 paks out. on wolfhezer..
thad 2 is2 and a KV2 out 5 minute later.. you said expensive tanks. well they dont use any of t heir fuel for upgdrade.. germans do. and germans can probly build an P4. with t1 or nomral panther by the time they have 2 t35..

Jesus. Stop wining and learn from you mistakes. Vet 1 panther > IS-2. Get some shrecks in play and youll be fine. Russians tanks are not that great at all.
Btw, mg42 is not very effective since russians can break a lot of suppression. So change your tactics (Gasp) and get more versatile units like mg42 grenadiers and mp40 volks. Oh and btw, Ostwind >> all Russian infantry
The only thing in this thread that isnt people learning how to adapt is the idea to limit ISU-152 to a one time 500mp call in.

IS-2 Cannon should be much weaker since it was crap for tank vs tank in real and it would make OP russians more balanced.

My Rusky infantry gets slaughtered fast. Very interesting and challenging to play. German player can't get away with spamming snipers anymore.

your joking.. snipers are spamed by allieds.. its even worse when you have recoiless.. and snipers.. now imagined , recoiless rifle and IS2s?
with sniper spam.
kills pak sherks, squards, then comes your lonely tanks fighting all that on their own,

Does any one of you know how long it takes to produce IS-2???
or any Soviet tank for that matter? If you don`t want to fight Soviet heavy armor, deny them fuel, CCCP can`t secure points so it won`t be much of a problem to at least decap Soviet fuel points.
The main problem with all posts I read are people learned to use the same tactic over-and-over and now that tactic sucks against Soviets. Learn the week spots, exploit them before you start calling every single Soviet unit overpowered. All light vehicles are more then adequate against Soviet infantry (even Motorcycles) , so play little more the a couple of games before you start changing everything

THIS A THOUSAND TIMES
I now confidently play Panzer Elite against Soviets. Infantry halftracks suppress, and once you get MP44s and Schrecks rolling out, you are nearly unstoppable because the Soviets have HORRIBLE anti-infantry power. Even the upgraded Strelkys with SMGs have trouble against MP44s.
The only tank I can think of that poses me a real problem is the T-90 because of its suppression, but I don´t think I´ll see them used en mass against me in what´s left of the week.

Exactly, even this morning I was having, major trouble against them with PE.
Just have to adjust, mortar halftracks are incredibly invaluable, get them out first.
Then hop to T3 and make sure you can get a Marder or two out for when the inevitable T34 arrives.
Then save up for Panther battlegroup whilst buffing up your infantry with field craft, veterans etc
Scorched earth works really well too, disabling points and booby traps waste their infantry like anything ;D
If anything the Soviet support units should cost a little more, the tanks abit cheaper, the ISU limited and a few little things here and there :)

If you ask me, this is how the PE should create combinations as the game goes:
Pgrens + mortar halftrack + halftrack
Pgrens MP44 + Marder
Pgrens MP44 + Schrecks

well, you're a wannabe smarta$$ i guess... we all know that the Germanans lost IRL but it doesn't mean anything. COH is a f*cking game! so of course it has to be balanced anyway! if germany lost or not doesn't matter! its just a game that has to be fair balanced!
It is RIDICULOUS that the 88mm's round just bounces off the armor of the IS-2 seriously WTF?!
the 88mm KwK 36 could penetrate 138mm of armor at 1,000 meters distance! the IS-2 had only 120mm maximum armor frontal though! and the 75mm KwK 42 from the Panther which had higher velocity and stronger penetrating power could penetrate 149mm of armor at 1,000 meters distance!
the IS-2 was really not a serious enemy for Panthers and Tiegrs, they ate IS-2s for breakfast every morning! ;)
I can just agree with this point: the Soviets are way too much op sorry but....seriously holy sh*!

This forum is filled with lulz. First release of the mod and everybody expects it to be perfect. Howmany times has Relic released 'balance' patches for its games, ive lost count. Some would say the balance is still off for those too.

It wasnt designed for anti armor role but its shell was so big it just crushed the hull of anything it hit. Yeah I have no doubt it could do as you said , but did that test mention how many shots were needed to hit it? Im guessing a lot , or I call propaganda.

ACtually, all that crap about going through a panther and out the other side is crap. There was a test where the IS2 could barely penetrate the panthers front armor, due to horrible AP shells issued in 1944. However, its 122mm HE round could shatter the hull of the panther because of the shock it did.
and also, who does the ISU 152's shell explode so small? is it an AP round?

The IS-2 was a very powerful tank and could penetrate the front armor with impunity, also that account of the shell passing through the Panther was from a German troop, not a Russian while on the field but I still think that is bogus... I could see it possibly having the force to knock parts of the engine block out of the compartment, but not a clean through and through shot.

The IS-2 couldn't penetrate the glacis plate on any distance and the and the bottom front plate at only 100m.

The Russian armor is good, the support infantry is good, and the regular infantry is made for massive pointless spam, that well unless they arent being completly mowed down is very epic or anything at all. There was a volk squad or grenadeir squad I do not remember very well but I had 4 conscript squads in trenches arround each other the eviorment ones in Kursk and they got absolutly anihilated by 1 german squad untill I got a 120mm mortar which is the only way I could actualy hold the position were made. At best Russian infantry are target pratice and I do realize about 26 million Russian soldiers died in WW2 but cmon I dout the reason that many died is they couldnt take a bullet just as much as a german soldier.
