General:
* Fixed bug that allowed immobile vehicles to move after receiving criticals on the engine.
* Fixed "unable to reinforce recrewed soviet mortars" bug for all factions.
* Fixed recrew bug for Bofors (hopefully, it's a vanilla bug and affects 25pdrs and firebase as well).
* Smoke rounds have wrong criticals.
-Stalingrad still has the buggy manor near player spawn 6.
-Stalingrad ingame minimap shows the starting positions.
US:
* Fixed wrong damage value from US sniper rifle vs garrison cover (from 0 to 1).
CW:
* Fixed recrew file for Bofors.
RMC:
* Fixed recrew file for Bofors.
SU:
* 52K guns cannot be finished by special mechs squads.
* 52K guns sometimes cause crashes when firing.
* When RBS captures something, after reinforcing the recrewed weapon, the squad will get a flag bearer.
* Check damage & health points of 52K.
* Fixed 4th/5th(vet2) man missing for soviets while recrewing a HM.
* Fixed wrong UI icon when recrewing MG Dugout.
* Fixed range of Soviet MG dugout.
* Naval squad can replace dropped weapons.
Wehr:
* Fixed supervise ability.
* Fixed Stormtrooper camo ability.
PE:
* Nashorn firing animation does't match with projectile.

52K cannon causes crash while shooting. Encountered this twice.

When I finished the fortress mode it says Fatal scar error- execution paused. I waited awhile then it crashed. Also the 2cm flak gun icon is pink.

Hi guys, does anyone else have problems with new savegames made in 1.5.0.1, crashing on loading ? My old savegames seem to still load fine though (albeit with some minor glitches). I have the steam version of COH.
I sent an error report to Relic and received an automated response to the error code, claiming that the savegame version is invalid. Another load attempt brought about a pop-up asking whether I had enough space in my TEMP folder ?!
Great Mod though and I really love the latest fine-tuning you guys made to the Russians.

Guys, when i play fortress mode, my 3.7 mm Flak gun icon is pink and i think it should be a 1 man mounted gun

Yea, there should be one man and sometimes he is in gun or he is staying around. Mind power :).

i was just playin an AI match and noticed that when the AI hulls down their zis guns they dont seem to know how to undo it, They just sit there picking it up and setting it back down. this includes enemies who recrew a dug in gun.

They also lock down in some fairly dumb spots. Not all the time though. Maybe AI shouldnt' be allowed to use it :P

That's normal. Veterancy is achieved by combat in game-Fortress mode.

I must not know what fortress mode is because as far as I know I was just playin normal Skirmish mode. I assume they're different. I was Using the KK center to up my Vet and I only paid for one support inf upgrade but somehow the MG had Vet 2.

One more thing that i concern about is how to choose between Red tide and Blitzkrieg ? Because everytime i play i always get Blitzkrieg first and then Redtide.

Is it intended for the Luftwaffe Ground Forces to immedeately gain vet 3 when they kill just one soldier? It was a Naval soldier and they got PE vet, not Wehr.

first thank you guys for the great new patch!
Some bugs I found.
1) Game freezes after conscripsts built infantry tent on map Stalingrad Station. Had to restart my PC. It was a 2vs2 game against Wehr and PE AI. Me playing russians and my AI comrade, too. Next 2vs2 game with same army constellation on Mahilyou which got the same size as Stalingrad works fine. No problems to play this map. Also a 1vs1 on Angoville works without any crashes.
2. Observer will not be healed by the health truck. Doesn´t matter if he is observing or not.
3. Kettenkrad still waiting after conquer a strategic point till it is destroyed. It still does not move away.
4. Wehr heavy MG gun team don´t move away or try to change their position when they are in close combat. They are holding position till the whole team is killed.

This is a moderately rare vCoH bug. I think it has something to do with constructing a unit at the same time you research vet. Their vet level will be 1 higher than the rest of it's category (in this case support vet). Won't be fixed by EF.

The observers are a 2 man team. Reinforce the extra man and the squad health will go up to full. He will stay at half and won't be healed further if there is only 1 man in the squad.

Played as Russians vs. AI on new map. Captured MG42 and had to retreat when flanked. After retreating back to base, I was unable to select the crew, nor did they heal even though the medic truck was in the area and other squads were healing. Also, I selected a squad of Sterlky and combined them with an Engineer squad. Doing this created an Paratrooper squad icon for the combined force. Thanks, as always for the hard work and great game!

I see a bit progress but the russian AI still producing one T70 tank in one of six games but waves of Marine soldiers. Wehr AI still producing gaywagons or stugs like hell...same thing like in 1.4. Also Wehr is producing Gaywagons even if you don´t choose them in the special unit area. So I am asking myself where are the big changes? What is the great plan this mod is going further on? Just a mod balanced for the multiplayer gamers or will there be more progress for an AI which makes fun to play against for all who just want to play skirmish games. By the way sorry for my worst english.
I like the eastern front mod a lot but plz do something for a great and intelligent AI which is hard to get out of the field. Other mods got a much better AI like Normandy mod for example or Battle of the Bulg.

You can use Overdrive with PE Armored car while the engine is damaged. No speed up effect, but ammo is wasted.

Buddy while I'm sure you only seem to wanna play vs. the comp most of the people who play this mod are not. We like PvP because it offers a challenge, because it forces us to completely adapt our strategy to different variables. The comp is boring, I'm sorry that you don't agree with us, but the comp always does the same thing because he is a code which doesn't have an particular variables and no brain which means he cannot adapt to changes. The AIs in other mods are often constrained by the unit limits that are placed on certain units, something the Devs try to avoid. In N44 (IRC, please excuse me if I'm wrong) you usually can't have more than a certain number of any particular unit on the field at the same time, but you have many units with similar roles.
If you would like a better AI, then, with all due respect, please build and code the entire AI system yourself. Robotnik works hard to make the AI as good as he can, but he's no mule.
@SuperSoca: I played a game today and my Armored Car got engine damage and I couldn't use Overdrive.

Big changes for AI? Did you read somewhere in the changelog that AI was improved? I apologize if some sentence on the changelog made you believe that.
We focused completely on the PvP side of the game for 1.50, robotnik had the fortress mode as side project as well and had some troubles with his rig... enough stuff I guess :P.

plz come down. I am asking just normal questions because I am interested about it...I don´t want to attack someone, so no need to be offended. Still wanted to know if there will be changes in the nearer future for the AI or only for the PvP section. Don`t need answers like do it on your own...that is, excuse me, just childish. If I got a look in the replay section of this website or into the gamerreplays.org you will find really not much games played with the EF mod since it was released. So is the PvP section really so big for this mod? Don`t believe that. Anyway, it would be nice to read some relaxed informations about my questions. I am not the only one playing against the AI and doing that is probably in the eyes of some PvP people noobish, who cares? I like to do that and a lot people, too. For what waiting like the Ostheer or more patches if our section will not be considered in the future or with the next patch. This is also no attacking, just a normal critic and questions.

I don't understand you're pre-concieved notion that there are no easternfront PVP players. I can name 15-20 off the top of my head and if you simply just host a game people WILL JOIN.

When the Red Army Mustering Tent is build, Strelky description says:
Requires: All Soviet Support Barrack upgrade needed
But with only one upgrade I can deploy Strelky.
I don't know if it's a bug or a description error.

I killed a couple of Ostwinds with a 52K(before falling to a couple of StuHs) in the same game without crashing yesterday, do you have scarring set to "off"?

Don't know, even with scarring on I don't get any crash.
Yes, those models are from MoW, animated by Sweeten.

Guys, i had encountered a few old bugs that hasn't been fixed:
First, the KV-1 still firing its back turret MG into the front
Second, still there is some double-tap Tigers or stugs
And some animating problems like the Soviet point flag is still left blank- i mean there isn't any symbol on the flag, it just turn grey after raised and then the victory point flag has the same issue and it is missing its big flag on the top.

None of our tanks has functional rear MGs. KV-1 had a coaxial MG IIRC, if the coaxial mg fires in a wrong perspective then it's a bug.

About your last thing, I think that is a hardcoded bug :-\.

He means the misfire/burp bug where the firing animation starts but the enemy moves out of range or whatever and so it fires again immediately after reacquiring it. This leads to what appears to be rapid firing of the cannon but in reality only 1 shot is actually fired. Relic bug.

You seriously need to fix firestorm in Fortress, Blitz, R-Tide its impossible to play when your forced to retreat from one call in and another is immediately called on your hq before your infantry has managed to reach it.

Anyone have the issue that map can not be loading?
I have steam account and the map never be loading during skirmish.

I found another problem. When you reinforce a capture MG team, you get a flag bearer. So there was a gunner, a loader,....and a flag man :P. IDK if its b/c I captured it using RBS ???

The flag guy just happened to be one of the guys capturing it. That's why we disabled capturing with the CS, because Danko would sometimes capture weapons and then you could reinforce him back to the CS. So you would have multiple Majors running around.

I remember in the beginning, Danko was cloned on the captured weapon so that you were able to use a Flak 88 with three Dankos. That was fun :P

Not exactly. I had 7 strelky. Some got killed, 1 of which was the flag bearer. They crewed the MG and one of the MG crew members was killed. So I brought it to an outpost to reinforce. And out came running a flag bearer :P. I dont remember if the RBS got their flag guy back :P

Playing versus the AI, when I build a russian artillery base the AI uses it's butterfly bombs, V1 rocket or firestorm upon it when I use the artillery.
But the problem is you can only use theses abilities when you have a unit nearby to clear out the fog of war but the AI does it anyway in the fog of war.
Also my ally AI destroyed my army with a v1 rocket to destroy the british HQ truck ... I think that's plain retarted AI.

That doesn't matter, the capturing squad is still Red Banner Strelky, no matter if at the time you get the mg you didn't have it. I think I know how to fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

Guys, i got a crash message when i tried to load a saved Orel match.

This isnt really a big deal because it shouldnt happen that often but I noticed in 2 matches I played recently that when an IL-2 gets shot down and it crashes at a choke point it cuts off that passage. I didnt try to use a satchel to destroy it, although I tried to target the carcass with attack move but it didnt work. Units with crush ability (like the church in the pic) can move through it but doesnt actually crush the carcass.

I'm sure it's fixable, but will stay as it atm. When the soviets models start to be reworked we are going to check it.

didn't looked at it but it catched my eye by coincidence. I will take a look maybe it was an temporally bug I don't know but I will check it out.

I haven't looked at SU76 tracks, but if you saw that tracks don't move, they surely don't move and should be treated as a bug, however our modeler BurroDiablo is focusing on Ostheer so, Soviet modeling comes after that, let alone we only have Tiger helping us with the animations as well besides he's working on his own mod.

Oke, Its not an big deal to me but I just want to mention it so it won't be overlooked. My opionion everything needs to be as perfect as it can be even if it takes much more time than it's intended to.
btw can't wait for the Ostheers.
If I was good at modeling and animating I have helped with AL the spare time I've got but I think I'm pretty bad at it ;D. Never tried it bye theway

just a couple of things real quick about the SAS recon jeep. First the jeep with the vickers has no firing sound. Second, for some reason I couldn't repair them with sappers when both jeeps were intact, but could if one was destroyed.

Lol I know Im on here alot with the stuff I find, sorry :-[. But I was playing as the RMC with Commando Doc and noticed that the Commados (Regular Commandos, HMG, Mortar, and PIAT) cant retreat to the Captain. Have they always been like this? I cant remember.

Relic bug: when the PE have Defensive Operations, you can see where his Mortar Halftrack and ATHT are in his base, trough the fog of war, because of a small turning cilinder above then. I hope this can be fixed, thanks.

I was playing PE(TD) against AI British(RE) 1v1 and during the game they parked their field support truck and instantly two sappers squads came up. I'm not sure if it's known issue though but it's definitely relic's bug.

Its about saving a skirmish and cannot load it. It tries to load the saved skirmish but you are redirected to the main menu.

SU 85mm cannon has to much HP, probably 3x or 4x more than 88 cannon and it's more powerfull than german 88.

Fortress mode crashed for me. One of my 52Ks had incoming fire of a German tank, I didn't see which one. At the time the shell was to hit the cannon, the game just crashed.

Yes, I'll tried with printscreen but I could'nt get to paste the screen to paint or photoshop. Perhaps the picture/file saves somewhere on the computer or something :-\

If print screen doesn't work try "shift+print screen", then look at "documents/my games/company of heroes/screenshots" to see if it was saved.

I dont know is this a problem, but since 1.51, everytime I play Kursk, when I see the center of the map, the game become very lag that I nearly cant control anything. But everything become normal after I move to other part of the map.
Both tested with compstomp or vs player

In the middle victory point of the Kursk. My computer's performance is not high but I never have this lag before in that map.

A couple of things here:
First RMC 17 pdrs turn on their own until you turn them manually. Im not complaining cuz it works for me but i dont think its supposed to be that way
Second RMC Bofors Emplacement doesnt recrew properly

As Far as I know they dont turn on their own in vCoH, you have to do it manually. Im just saying they do now and I dont think theyre supposed to.

I have had the same experience as DocRocco with RMC and CW.
How many munitions are required for the Partizans to blow a bridge? The first 35 I spent yielded 2 charges, the Second 35 muni I spent Yielded one charge. My Partizans had to skedaddle before I could place another charge.

After playing awhile. I get a crash with EF 1.510.
The warning log file says:

The only way I know to fix this kind of problem is to change the values in squad_ai_ext.
I have also had a fatal scar error, but only once on a particular map. The scarlog says:

I captured a heavy mortar with strelky and when it reached the veterancy that will enable it to have 5 members, i couldn't reinforce the fifth guy. Cause the reinforce icon was not visible. Before capture the mortar it was hit by henschel strafing run. Besides that something odd happened next when i placed it somewhere, then by it self was changing places.

The flak 88 used on the challenge mode is a special one, both, 88 and 52k, have 2000HP points IIRC.
About the 52k dmg, it really does too much dmg vs axis tanks, I'll tweak it later :).

Tank hunters will not cloak if 1 squadmember refuses to go into cover with the others. You can get him to do what you order if you click afjew times around the cover. Though the squad is in cover you can't choose HOLD FIRE and they won't all cloak is one guy is refusing to accept that he is in cover.

If they are will have PIAT ambush, I'm sure they won't need the passive camo :-\.

Remove the passive and replace it with a PIAT ambush look alike and change Icon can be done.
Ain't there no way to just code it different. Like the trigger that let's you activate PIAT ambush when in cover is used for whole squad cloak and not just squad-member instead of just copying the code of the old ability? Ain't that doable? :)
The german armor does not get a nasty suprise when they can see one of the guys ^^

I noticed that ISU 152 doesn't have a speed penalty when it crash on buildings like other vehicles have.

very strange. Got latest EF Patch 1.5.10 and CoH Patch 2.602 but allways the sync error appears while watching EF replays which got same latest patches....???? Any help?

It's not a just building, but a crewed building, so like the other emplacements of the same type(firebase, 25 pdrs, 17 pdrs, mortar nests, bofors, 76mm 1927, CW mg nests) can earn vet, unlike the US MG nest.
It's not a bug they can earn vet. However the AT icon is a wrong :P.

very strange. Got latest EF Patch 1.5.10 and CoH Patch 2.602 but allways the sync error appears while watching EF replays which got same latest patches....???? Any help?

Perhaps you need to uninstall and reinstall EF. Before reinstalling, check that all EF files and folders are gone and then proceed.

did like you told me. Uninstalled EF, all folders and cleaned the registry. Installed the mod again and upgraded it to the latest patch. Then I downloaded the "Lovely game" replay. From the start the sync error appears again...crazy...

Yes I use a skin mod mixed from several skins.

Could you move it anywhere else and restore the original files (if needed)?
Then try again.
Or you can check if "Company of Heroes\WW2\DataAttrib" that path exists, most likely could be the reason.

i had recently another sniper bug
i retreat my 3 snipers and a mg starts firing at them
and 2 of them were pinnend while retreating
is it possible to fix the relic bug?

If you play Annihilate mode, Soviet MG dugouts don't count as buildings to keep you ingame if your HQ is destroyed. Maybe it's also like this for VP and Annihilate - no pop cap, I don't know.

During a Skrimish game my partner chose TD doctrine and later left. Then the comp suddenly started using booby traps and Hummels ??? I have the replay but its long (and dumb) IDK if this problem is present in vCOH but I just realized it today :P

He had a Jagdpanzer and it his name was on it(literaly). His name was also on the Hummel :P. BTW I realized I didn't save the replay. I went to check and it wsn't there :'(
Maybe your partner didn't choose TD?

This isn't exactly a bug per se, but I'm still getting awful performance problems on Zhytomyr, even on lowest settings. I'm pretty sure it's not my computer that's causing it, because I can run any other map on high settings just fine.

I don't know this problem was mentioned before, when I was playing with SA and MrQ as RMC, inf section after used button vehicle, the guy with bren keep firing (just that guy and fire angrily), I saw that in 1.4 and in 1.51 I saw it again. But it's different in 2 patch, in 1.4, just with 1 guy with bren and that bug, he wipe out nearly a whole mp44 Pgrens and still firing after that, in 1.51 I saw that guy again but he keep firing but visually only. Both of them fire when still moving and only stop when retreat. :-X

From what I read on Wehrmacht's guide on GameReplay, Geschützwagen have rapid fire ability because it won't be affect by blitzkrieg ability, but that guide based on patch 2.300 so I'm not sure too.
I'll send replay showing that bug soon if I see it again.

Well, if GR experts say so, it could be truth. If Blitzkrieg ability should not work with GW tha may be a relic bug :P.
However, the current ability uses a generic condition to match any infantry and vehicle in the field. That's why GW is affected.

Blitz is supposed to apply to Gwagons which was a bugfix in a recent patch AFAIK.
Stavka's bug with the bren constantly firing is a Relic bug.

Every unit should be affected by blitzkrieg like in the description of the ability.
Who uses GWs btw since it's nerf I only use stugs cause they can crush at guns & crew in blitzkrieg (they just drive over it).

Two things I noticed in EF and I don't know/remember If they where pressent in the earlier versions or not :-\
1. In EF the American sniper and The Wehrmacht sniper have a pretty serious bug if a human player are using them.
They can shot almost immediately after their first shot. It doesn't happend all the time but I have seen it afew times. (Exampel sniper shot, runs a few steep to a new position and shot again)
My wher sniper vs 2 squads of rilemen, he killed the first squad and half of the second squad. the other half retreated.
2. In vChoH the officer can supervision the HQ in EF he can't

I can confirm that Sniper bug. Same counts for the T70, sometimes, it fires just like a Puma, especially when it's on the move.

stormtroppers can move normal while cloaked if they have vet3. but its only in ef like this. in vcoh storms with vet3 are creeping if they are cloaked.

I just checked and they run normally when getting vet3, not in any other instance. In either case, I just fixed that. You should not confuse running single stormtroopers, that usually do this to reach the other members of the squad and keep the formation, to see all the squad running.

This is might be a Relic bug, because EF's sniper files are the same than in vcoh(except that have an ability for AI to kill medics). Don't know how I can fix it. Other than that replay or never happened :P.

@ the sniper bug: It's just a misfire animation. Smoke comes out but a shot is not fired and it doesn't mess with the cooldown of the weapon like the M10. Completely harmless.

I didn't said it because of that, let me explain myself:
It doesn't matter if you can build stuff or not from it, if Wehr could deploy a HQ truck the officer will be unable to supervise it with the current/fixed ability, because it only supervises building-type entities, but if you had a flak set up as building(not confuse with emplacement) you would be able to supervise it, no matter if it cannot produce anything.
Just asked because I never used it on a bunker, but code-wise seems possible.

I tested the SU sniper today and apparently their sniper got the bug as well :-\
But not the Sniper ace ???
If you count the time when he shots normal and when he bug shots its around double time
Bug: 4sec between shots
Normal: 8sec between shots
This is indeed very strange cus I have no memory that I ever saw this in the earlier version, at least not with the SU, I'm 100% sure

How can you possibly get this bug so often when the rest of us haven't really seen this happen? Have you modified any files Lisa? Also, how are you doing the tests? Just in standard compstomp games?
I don't think the Sov Sniper actually showed the bug. Sniper fire rate is naturally variable. The Wehr one is still interesting though.

The bug it self is strange, sometimes I can play a whole match and never encounter it and other times after the first sniper I train. Its random. :-\

Well, unfortunately I cannot do anything to fix it. Because all the sniper files (ebps,sbps,wepons) match with Relic files(not at 100% but the differences are minimal and have nothing to do with stats).

Well, looks like it is supposed to be that. I just checked and it's a Relic thingy. I can remove it easily but I think that's used in a special building on a campaign mission, meaning that maybe the map has a building that should not be placed on MP maps :). Do you have a screenshot of the building or the replay?

its no bug that AI can spawn grens from FHQ. AI is cheating. brits for example build lieutenant instantly with tommie squad (no building time for AI)...-> so, no issue here

well if you are talking about the upgraded PE-building where PE-inf can reinforce, then we are talking about the same ;) PE-AI can not only heal and reinforce squads nearby this reinforcement-building, it can also build new grens inside... but like i said, that only goes for cheating AI

I think that i found a bug. Well as you know Naval squad can upgrade 2xDP-28 or 2xPTRD. Well, my friend's Naval squad lost one DP-28 and he couldn't buy new one.
I'm writting it, because i'm sure that if grenadiers will lost panzershreck or MG-42, they can buy new one, am i right?

OK, i know that this bug was mentioned somewhere but i don't remember where so i write it.
Naval squad has SVT 40 guns but the problem is that they have bolt action animation. That's mean they are shotting slower than guards with SVT 40 or even panzergrenadiers with G43.
Walki, as you know something about animation, maybe you could fix that?

They are firing slower because we gave them such stats, they don't fire as faster as guards because they are not supposed to. The SVT40 was just a visual change, their stats belongs to a standard mosin.
The only bug is the bolt action thingy, but IMO it can be there for more time :P(e.g. there are more important stuff than this).

Well, I'm sure I can take an eye, but sometimes this happen in vCoH... at least it happened to me in two times(playing one of the first CW missions and on ToV's Falaise Pocket, never got the permission to leave XD). But if always happens when playing the mission then it is a bug.

not sure if this has been mentioned lately, if at all, but during any skirmishes i have played since two or three patches ago (i.e. the patch that introduced the IS3) i have encountered the following problems:
1. wehrmacht does not ever build the building allowing for panzer 4, panthers, ostwinds. this occurs on every map and every difficulty.
2. soviets never build any tanks they (assumably) buy an upgrade or something in the tank hall and nothing further happens with regards to production once the progress bar is filled. happens on every map and any difficulty
