I have had the same thing happening to me on The Hochwald Gap (stock map 8 player map) every time I tried over 10 times. As soon as I start the map and before my first guy is built I get a defeated message, as soon as the computer builds it first unit.

This happens with me playing against 1,2,3,4 & with me having a computer ally or without one.
