Because these errors means you have conflict in your EF build, which no one else has, so it has to do with your installation and not with the mod itself OK, thanks for the tip. Seems strange I get the same error in both versions though. Will do though. 3

Is the Ostheer supposed to be working? I have tried varios maps but I keep getting the Fatal Sacar error. This is on both vanilla versions, Steam Relaunch 2.700 and TOV 2.602.

Codname "Tiger" may I suggest when reading a post you then read it again and maybe get a second opinion? In no way was I 'bashing' the Devs or anyone, I was merely asking questions about the mod.
I have been involved in mods and now only too well how stubborn fixes can be to get right. For what it is worth I respect most modders and certainly respect the EF team, I was curious to what was going on when another big mod 'Blitzkreig' released a patch and now has it working. I now know why things are different thanks to the more informative people here. PS Hope you manage to fix it soon. 5

I will wait as most people but just wanted to satisfy my own curiousity. If say version 1.7 was rereleased so it could work on the standard coh and not the Steam relaunch then there would be no need to 'create' anything no? I myself have been involved in a number of mods in the past and thought it better for their players to play an older version rather than them leaving the scene altogether? Or are you suggesting that players of this mod cannot ask any questions? 7

Thanks for the info. If this is to be a little while in fixing then would it be an idea to release a version of EF that works with the standard COH?

I don't wish to tread on anyones toes but has anyone from the EF mod contacted someone on the BK mod to see how they fixed the problem?
