Well the other problem is that some developers/publishers will actually go out of their way to be controversial, the most recent one that I can recall would be Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 with it's "No Russian" level. So I will just focus on this one as an example but before I do.
I am not having a go at COD fans and have not played the game myself as I prefer more how can I put this... 'challenging' games such as ARMA II, but I have looked into the MW2 issue.
Why is Infinity Ward's No Russian level controversial? The simple answer to that question would be, that it didn't need to be there.
What it did not do : Further the plot in a substantial way.
What it did do : Provided extra publicity for the product. Due to human nature because it was controversial and gained more publicity more profits where made as it was like the "car crash"* effect. More younger people will have bought it just because it was controversial.
The level was also skippable further proof if you will that it was put in just for controversy, as if it was significant to the game plot it would not have been skippable.
* Car Crash Effect : When you go past a road traffic accident (RTA) you can't help but look basically.
Now what does all that above have to do with this thread? I'm just trying to point out that some developers/publishers are not exactly helping their corner with stuff like that.

Hey there Snug, mine is kind of a strange choice as I rarely play them in the game, but in real life I am interested in their history and military equipment/vehicles (particularly their 80's period) and a bit of a collector. So I voted Soviet Union.
But ingame I tend to go for America with the Airborne strategy.
Hope that lets you know what you wanted.

I wear a suit minus the jacket everyday anyway, and since I have a policy of making myself available 24/7 to clients I'm always dressed the part.

Well the game wouldn't cause your hard drive to make a 'strange noise', as it's software not hardware.
Is this 'strange noise' like a rattle? i.e does you hard drive start rattling as if vibrating heavily? If this is the case I will give you one very important suggestion...
BACK ANYTHING YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT UP AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY
As I've had this before and the hard drive died completely.
Now you may not have that problem, however better to be prepared.

Hmm at a guess it could be 'video lag' caused by an application running in the background (I have this problem if I have XFire running while playing EF)
Or you have your graphics settings a little bit to high, EF is more taxing on your graphics than vanilla Company Of Heroes.

Don't know much about the capablities of artillery in World War II so I'm just going off what I do know.
Standing up for my nation, if the 17 pounder was one of the best anti-tank guns then I'd imagine the 25 pounder was one of the best artillery guns.

uhu no teasers..? right.. ^^
Ok, ok so it is a 'teaser'... but a teaser of something you've already seen, remember the 1.20 release? Well it's the MG 34 from the roof of the Elephant. Only I've finaly gotten round to UV mapping and texturing it properly. It's too high poly to be a teaser, but i'm sure Hawk would have no problems making a good looking low poly version with epic Normal maps. Yep it stands at 64,032 polygons, so I could kill the mod if you like As the Max file itself suggets though that was just a Direct X shader test, realtime shader to be exact so 'what you see is what you get' no traditional rendering required. I'll be honest however, it's not perfect yet it still does a beautiful job. Could probably be of good use to the model/texture artists on the team. Was the last part a hint by the way? Screen capture taken a few minutes ago. Main problem? My desktop image is changed regularly. Yes it's a clickable thumbnail for fullsize, don't even ask if the model is Eastern Front related. Even if it is I wouldn't tell you, no teasers yet kids. Regards Hawk (Silk)

Hmm well I shouldn't vote but...
I was torn between the bigger KV-85 tank and the T-34/76, but the T-34 wins out due to the fact it has a more unique and slender profile.

Hmm harsh language eh? Then you ladies and gentlemen definitely don't want to play with me over the likes of TeamSpeak, I cuss a ton while playing games quite the foul-mouthed individual if I be completely honest.
Yet it's never directed at any other players it's always directed at the artificial intelligence of my forces for doing seemingly stupid stuff i.e taking 10 plus seconds to throw a satchel charge (really?) Or myself if I do something completely idiotic.

Tournament is now over, here are the results: There were some issues during however, namley Challonge's inflexablity, many people didn't show and some had to leave. Of note Spieel joined Dezzick from Round 4 onwards as his teammate was a no show and nickpol15 had to leave. I may well run another 2 vs 2 Tournament in a month or so only I will be keeping score and team matchups with the old pen and paper method. Congratulations and thank you to all who took part.Regards Hawk.

Due to difficult circumstances and none of the reserves being around Dezzick thankfully took BlackBishop's place as nickpol15's teammate.
