no i mean the tanks become untouchable which means they CAN be driven through/NOT destroyed, don't really exist as cover for soldiers, and their model doesn't leave the game/since you can't run over it with a tank (could be an install problem)
i mean the german's main artillery piece/anti tank cannon which they walk around with their troops (not the 88)...either the heaviest russian tank sucks (which it doesn't because i can kill panthers and stug and everything real easy but the artillery just sits there taking hit after hit and these guys don't even have to move, they just rotate and fire at me destroying everything i send at them from all angles (it is too powerful and is the only thing keeping me from beating the germans while russian and american artillery pieces easily fall to german light tanks/their artillery..i know german have bigger artillery but as a game mechanic i think its kinda overpowered)
russians cannot take back their own artillery or steal germans, i play a little weaker in the macro so every gun i can steal i take with my infantry and then turn it against the germans...russians cannot operate these artillery pieces (or i'm not pressing the right button..it could be me)
the british mg thing is not a problem, just seems like the british can't field as many troops as germans/americans
as far as the soldiers/and build costs its not a bad idea and you don't have to do it..i was playing around with the mod editor and thinking about it but if you guys did it then it would be great..not a problem for me actually (
only bugs were the stuck russian tank models bother me and the artillery piece is too strong

i was just speculating about the number of infantry..i really haven't played that much of COH but i like it alot and the only thing i noticed in the american campaign so far is that once i get my side of the map defended, i only have about 4 slots left for attack (a few shermans and maybe an infantry)
i like to put atleast 1 squad at every point which seems logical if i wanted to defend a base (then have a few roaming squads which act as offense and support) so that means i field 4 engineers 4 machine gunners 2-4 artillery pieces 2-4 tanks/armored cars to battle their armor and already i am running out of room to actually attack the enemy (i am probalby making too many machine gun nests, but i am usually playing 4 german bots vs me and 3 american bots and i typically reinforce my allies bots territories with an mg nest to keep the game fair since german were overpowering allies anyways with early tanks (new AI is much better than original ai with medics repairing my vehicles, allies helping out my base if i'm being attacked so i was just guessing on what it would look like in terms of broad greneral numbers 4-8, it could be just 3 of each (3 eng, 3 infantry, 3 tank, 3 armored, 3 jeep/cycle, 3 bunkers) and that would still be better than the total # pool which limits your construction to only 1 way of fighting (total offense or total defense)
