Right - clearly i'm being a confusing noob!  ::)

Summary:
Have now managed to update game manually from your link below.
My COH is patched to 2.601.
I have .net 3.5sp1
I am running with admin rights

Only one problem: when I launch EF Launcher I get the following error message: Unable to locate "EF_Launcherdata\languages.ini".
I click OK and it takes me to the Launcher but all the fields are completely blank.
You posted the following solution in the thread below: ttp://easternfront.org/forums/index.php?topic=4346.msg44038#msg44038

but then didn't say what to do with this key. Please can you help?

I click the update button it finds the patch. Changelog 1.2.1.0

When I go to install it I get the "Eastern Front Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience"

result - no update  :'(

Any suggestions?

Hi there
I've had exactly the problem described in this thread but annoying it doesn't get completed. I've done the regedit and found the string as directed by Black Bishop. Please can you tell me what happens next??
