Hey guys,
i recently downloaded the mod Battle of the Buldge just for fun and as many of you probably know,it has complete different gunsounds for every unit.
Know i started to wonder,are they using sounds that are more realistic than vCoH and EF?
After playing so many WW2-related games i kinda thought that e.g. the clicking of M1-garands or the epic rattling of the MG42 where realistic in those games.
do you know who uses the real deal? BotB or vCoH? i'd love to know

once played against a buddy on that bridgemap,don't know what it's called in english, translated from german it would be "Riverbank at the industrial fields". well i defended myself desperatly from his german tanks and build up my on tanks, 1 pershing and 4 upgunned sherms, send them over and they get stuck on the bridge becouse of a freakin deserted PaK  next thing i saw is the bridge collapsing after a V1 smashed into it

only in CoH there are off-map artillery with endless range,but the howitzers you build on-map won't even try to shoot over half the map. only in CoH there will be injured men crawling on the ground while there surviving buddys talk about cheesstake-sandwiches from philadephia next to them

used search, couldn't find jack  i have a few questions concerning the small arms in the game 1. Do the rifles change stats depending on the guy carring it? for example,will the Kar98k do less damage when it hits when its used by a folk or by a stormtrooper? 2.i know that kar98 will win on long range and M1 Garand will win at short range,but how about other rifles? is the Lee Enfiel of the tommies good at long or short range? what's with the mosin-nagant? has the KVT-40 the same stats as the G43? (which is long range,at least the game says so)

i have the feeling like that SAS-support-jeeps do a little too much damage with the vickers-k MG. it often kills one inf-guy with only one burst oO And don't tell me you didn't get the idea for this unit from Call of Duty 3

ok,at first this is going to be an PvAI and not a PvP issue,and before there are like 5 posts telling me that PvAI will not be discussed i'll just say it right away: skirmishes are a big part of the game,they're good fun and there are many people out there who would enjoy them to be as considered as the PvP games are.
well my issue isn't that big,but:
in games against the AI, enemy snipers will almost instantly retreat when beeing shot at (which makes sense from a realistic point of view).the german sniper does,the american sniper does. but the SU one just doesn't give a crap.he'd rather try taking out that king tiger before retreating. would it be difficult to have him retreating just like the other (one-man) snipers do?

New one,also from CoH-wiki: do wehr officers increase the stats of nearby wehr-inf? it says that they fight better and are less likely to be surpressed

@Cireva If only it would be that easy  but -the planes (when at all) get shot,they are most likely so far that they crash off-map -wehr-officers are the ones who get shot first by snipers  and they don't have the range to shoot back  -StuGs will rarely expose their rear when fighting,and will retreat by reversing -.- so it's hard to "wait" for that stuff to happen

ok,here are a few things i read or heard about the games,and some of them i never/very rarely get the chance to see if it's true. maybe you guys can help?
No 1: If a plane (most likely a P47) gets shot down and crashes on-map,the explosion causes as much damage as a V1
No 2: A wehr officer will kill enemy snipers with one hit of his P38
No 3: if a vehicle becomes "out of control", it will also mow down friendly infantery
No 4:friendly fire does exist not only for arty,but also for tanks that shoot units near friendly units
No 5: The American HMG will cause noticable damage to medium tanks like StuG or P4 when it get's the chance to hit their rear-armor while firing AP-rounds

wehr Tier 8: controllable Ju-88 that have unlimited ammo/bombs with every bomb doing as much damage as a artillery shell,and also with HMGs to target infantry and flak-HTs
