Ok. my operation system is Windows 7 Professional. Language is English. I installed Microsoft redistributable routines as i remember.
Also i runned as an administrator. nothing happend. i also patch my version manually. Now i tried to create short cut even the direction which u gave to me is giving example for non steam game.
I am gonna take of my clothes and run in the main street and scream now!!
Ok first of all i opened this direction; [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Eastern Front] "DisplayName"="Eastern Front" "DisplayVersion"="1.5.0.0" "URLInfoAbout"="EasternFront.org"
It was like; "DisplayVersion"="1.5.0.1" so i made as showen in the text as "DisplayVersion"="1.5.0.0" then what to do i realy didnt get i tried open one more time i got same error
I have some serious problem about installation Eastern Front mod. I'll explain my situation deeply for any advice. Please i realy need a help. I am totaly desperate about this situation. I tried many things but it still have same error.
first of all i have;
Company of Heroes(steam) Company of Heroes; opposing front(dvd) Company of Heroes; Tales of Valor(steam) Also my version is 2.602.0 probably its the latest one.
My operating system is Windows 7 x86
As u can see i bought Coh and Coh Tales of valor by steam and CoH Opposing front as a dvd. All is original.
Problem is; When i install EF and click check for updates, it says; ''Eastern Front Mod does not appear to be installed on your system. Try reinstalling Eastern Front Mod to continue''
I follow many solution way. fistly i install to this direction C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes nothing happend. then i install here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes Still nothing happend and gived same mistake. Also i click settings on EF Launcher window and write the ''CoH directory'' to location : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes and C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes NOTHING HAPPEND AGAIN Says; ''Eastern Front Mod does not appear to be installed on your system. Try reinstalling Eastern Front Mod to continue''
