Possible Solution to English-Accented voices
« on: April 16, 2010, 04:17:57 AM »
Personally, I don't like English-accented voices. In fact my German factions are all in German. But, many people are requesting accented voices for the Soviets so they know when they're under attack, or when a point's being seized, sniper, etc. So my thinking is, instead of replacing the literally thousands of voice files why not just replace 20-50 of the most important? Of course this would still require voice acting, but it's better than nothing. Then you can just make the voice files a separate optional download.

Atleast I can discern Guards from Conscripts now.

Russian is more immersive to me.
"You can close your eyes and plug your ears and be afraid and ignorant of the darker parts of history, but always know that you're the one responsible for allowing those events to happen again and with even greater consequences and not know how to end the nightmare you did upon yourself."

"MAH TACO" is the only thing I recognize from the shouts of the armored russians.

Rough Translation:

"F&#K! I DROPPED MY TACO IN THE ENGINE! THIS IS BULLSH*T! F)(KIN GERMANS! AVENGE MAH TACO."
"Balancers are 10 a penny"

*Shot from PanzerIV shakes the T-34*

"F&#K! I DROPPED MY TACO IN THE ENGINE! THIS IS BULLSH*T! F)(KIN GERMANS! AVENGE MAH TACO."
"Balancers are 10 a penny"
