There are plenty of players here capable of supporting the Wikipedia page. Feel free to add to it, but make sure you stay within the rules as outlined by Wikipedia.

You can find it here:

We need to add available languages. I could do it myself but I don't have complete list :P

Full changelog would look nice and make page look more serious, more professional xD

I don't think that a changelog fits in with Wikipedia's article rules. This is part of a factfile which we send to the press upon request, perhaps you could make use of it:

Quote
Company of Heroes: Eastern Front

- adds an entirely new Soviet faction to the 'Allies' side

- over 20 unique new Soviet units

- many new maps based in Germany, Eastern Europe and Soviet Union

- can play all the original 'Company of Heroes' factions, campaigns and maps

- fully localised in German, English, Russian, Polish, French, Italian, Chinese Traditional

Future Features:

- The Ostheer - a completely original Axis faction with unique new units, gameplay and art

- new campaigns and stories based on real battles and heroes

- new online co-op and single-player 'Operations'

- Reward Units to optionally replace certain units of all factions

Requirements:

- full install of any game from the 'Company of Heroes' series

- latest 'Company of Heroes' patch (2.601) installed

Developers:

- talented international group of 20 core members

- around 50 developers have directly contributed at some point

Wikipedia has a very firm no advertising policy for its articles. Just a heads up. Don't make it sound too much like a sales pitch or they'll just take it down.

Agreed, as I said in the first post, ensure that you are familiar with the rules before you edit.

I updated the page :-\. If someone finds better words to describe it than me is welcome :).

P.S. ITs the first time I'm doing something like this :-\... I hope that I did it well...

It was deleted because it wasn't released so there was very little mention on websites other than our own. After winning two ModDB awards, and receiving so many downloads, it should be able to stand up on its own.

I made some updates, concerning the Retreat and Re-Crewing. I made some proofreading edits too, I am good with wiki edits. I made it so from now on, any HEADING 2 TYPE text added will make another category under the "Contents" menu.

i've a decent machine, so I'll take some nice screenies to upload.

Question: on playback, how can I remove the messages ("+1Exp", etc) and also the nasty xray vision that shows units through hedges?

Please if someone edit the Wiki article, put also a link to this (www.easternfront.org) page on the bottom of the page with links.

@Headlock: +1Exp text will disappear even if you pause the replay (assuming you take screenshot from replays)... maybe it will work same way in game too. However taking screens from replay is like 100% better since you can rotate camera, change time scale and take really cool pics. As for x-ray vision it helps if you do not have fog of war turned-off (in replay), otherwise only other thing you can do is to retouch it in photoshop (clone stamp tool). I wrote a small "Guide to Comic book writers" and posted it to my Comic thread, you can find some more advices there about taking screens.

Maybe you need to write about the awards of the modification and MrScruff?

I haven't been around long enough to have such great knowledge, but if you give me text I can put it in the page and cite you as a source!

I've also included a bit about the maps, and I can add more if anyone wishes!
