Some questions about ISU-152
« on: August 15, 2010, 07:57:39 AM »
question 1:
ISU-152 has a skill called "animal killer", what's the function of it?  It seemed that the skill only extend the field of view slightly.

question 2:
ISU-152 & Jagdtiger,which is stronger?

I havent done this ISU 152 vs Jagdtiger as yet but ISU 152 requires some skill to be handled effectively

Its like a "LARGE" field gun , capable of destroying most tanks in 2 hits , but it can be circle strafed easily hence it requires a great deal of support , however you can use it to smash your way through to the enemy base , it is effectively a breakthrough assault tank

ISU-152' skill "animal killer", try to work as a marder lock down, but with the same reload time and accuracy, correct me if I'm wrong :).

I guess, ...

ISU-152 > Panther
ISU-152 > Tiger
ISU-152 > Jagdpanther
ISU-152 < Kingtiger
ISU-152 < Jagdtiger

Certainly CoH.

So does the Jagdtiger
They have the similar firepower, range, accuracy, speed and poor reload time(I haven't tested their armor yet)

Difference:
ISU-152 has a special skill but Jagdtiger hasn't
Jagdtiger's barrel can rotate in a small angle but ISU-152's cannot
Any more?

The skill explanation do not explain the effect of the skill clearly.

Here is the Eastern Front Mod Offical Forums. I hope the mod designer could see this post and give us some offical explanations

It's Jadgtiger, not the Jadgpanther ;)

The Animal Killer ability doesn't work atm. I'm not sure if the intention is to fix it or to remove it though.

The ISU-152's ambush ability is bugged , it needs to be fixed

ISU-152 is chiefly a TD , however it should be supported

IN a 1vs 1 match

"ISU-152 is superior to all super-heavy German tanks except the Jagdtiger which i haven't tested as yet "

When used with repair support , it can be used to draw heavy fire and while it is being fired upon , you can use either your AT guns or supporting tanks to destroy what is firing on it , like a couple of marders or panthers ( these are the usual counters for soviet heavy tanks)
