Soviets and Ostheer infantry units textures are not going to change anytime soon as far as I know. @BffWithDEATH: You will be happy to hear we plan to addd a custom texture pack for the vanilla factions later.
Well this is just wonderful news! Perhap's a little input here could be commando's haveing their helmet's except for the squad leader who could have a barret, kinda like the Skrelky? :DD

Also haveing random skins for infantry and vehicles would be really nice, i have seen this is quite a few mod's where if you spawn a squad they have a few different skins for different members of the squad which randomise, or if you spawn 2 sherman's or panzer 4's for example there is a good chance the two will have a different skin

Well they have been saying alot throughout the announcements that they are currently working on remodeling and retextureing pretty much everything in their faction's, my question is whether this includes the vanilla factions which clearly need it even more, i mean Gren's are bright blue. they should be wearing a more greyed out camo rather than looking as bright as the UN's helmet's

EF team have definatly been doing a very high quality job, my only real quarry is whether or not the vanilla factions are going to be re-modeled and retextured to bring them up to the visual standard of the EF faction's, because at this time, it's really hard to play a Vcoh faction when you compare it to the complete outclassing done by EFmod team and personally i struggle to use Ostheer atm and prefer to use the PE

Personally i believe the British AI need's some work, i find it doesn't take part in most player's decisions for skirmish etc simply because it doesn't do very much but player's use the british extensively

What about instead of supervision the luftwaffe officer could use binoculars which make him stationary but make a larger line of sight?

I agree, i've also noticedd that british AI doesn't do much either

I just tried out the support army doctrine and have to say i really love what you guys have done with it The doctrine is supurb, never thought i'ld see Brandenburger's in COH c; and a really nicely done JU-87 G-2 an effective JU-87 in COH and actual airstrikes for a Vcoh Axis faction! wundabar!

It's different, if your fighting an enemy who is buffed for assymetric warfare or tenacious defense, it's new, you have to adapt and use the appropriate counter strategies

I did not know that, i will have to check it out, and how is this changeing Vanilla factions? If it's really a huge bad thing that is changeig vanilla factions then that would make every single reward unit weather it is one of the EF ones e.g. Nashorn or vanilla ones.

Modding is meant to be for fun, and every person i know who play's mod's want's to see these alternative game mode's, i do not understand why there is so much animosity toward's adding more content for larger varieties of audience?

Perhap's a Hardcore Annihilate and Hardcore Victory Point's where there is realistic damage and penetration with 250pop cap? I know so many people who would love to play EFmod if this was an available option, it would remove nothing from the game just be alternative game mode's for different player's preferences c:

So I was wondering if maybe you guys could implement a JU-87 G-2 ground attack as a reward uni for the PE-Luftwaffe-Henschel's? AS it would add a new variety of tactic's to the luftwaffe makeing it like a strafeing run with 2x37mm cannon's and it's payload.
Also the Gebirgjaeger glider drop as a reward unit for the Falschemjaeger infiltration would add another massive variety of strategies to the PE Luftwaffe player as now you have a real airbourne element haveing a unit that actually comes from the sky and the difference between the Falchemjaegers and Gebirgjaegers could be that the Falchemjaegers are better for Urban CQC environments where as the Gebirgjaeger's are more suited to the Open/forest/mountain role better at long range.
For me these are the 2 unit's I wan't most in the game, being as PE is my favourite faction and Luftwaffe is the only real german Airbourne doctrine but isnt even an aerial doctrine at all I really feel that these reward unit's would greatly improve the entire quality of COH because the german's woudl finally have a real aireal doctrine and the Allied AA unit's would actually have a real role to play.
Please tell me what you think and i ask you kindly to deeply consider my suggestion as i feel very strongly about these 2 reward unit's :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

PE is a Mechanised faction, so it is all about mobility, i normally try to have 3PZ grens on vet 3 offensive with Gewer 43's some MG-34 halftracks nearby for suppression Mortar halftrack with ammo truck and nashorn/Marder3/Hetzer/panther/Jagdtiger you can defend in the open quite well i normally abuse my incindiary mortar round that is why i use the ammo halftrack because if the enemy is assaulting you heavily wait for them to get close-ish to your pz grens then cut off al retreat routes with incindiary mortar c; then counter attack with mg-34 halftrack and pzgren's you should gain ground
