Hello everyone,
I love the idea of the Luftwaffe Officer, but I don't think his abilities are very unique (other than the flaming bombing run). I mean I always used the original officer as my "base protector" because his supervision ability helps me vet up my soldiers super quickly or help me pull out tanks twice as fast. Also if there were a group of soldiers to sneak behind my lines, I could force them to retreat or bomb them with the mortar barrage. I feel like the Luftwaffe Officer is more of an offensive unit and should be up there supporting your front line troops with his abilities. I would like to keep his flaming bombing run , but would like to replace his other two abilities with something else. Here are my two ideas, but feel free to think of others and post them below.
Supervision
I really like this ability, but I feel like the officers should have different abilities and not share them. My idea of a cool idea would have the officer call in some luftwaffe pioneers from a plane or something, four man squads that work like grenadiers but cant be upgraded and construct basic stuff like bunkers, mines, and wire. I think this would be cool because the wehrmacht don't have any infiltration like abilities. This could cause some problems, but I think we should change the supervision abilities to something else.
Demoralize
I'm not exactly sure what this ability does, and its not a bad ability for the Luftwaffe Officer from the description of it, but I think it could be cooler or more useful. I think instead of this the Luftwaffe Officer should call in a plane and every infantry in its path will be forced to get down and get pinned for a short period of time (because they don't know if the plane is going to shoot themm or not). I think this could be a great ability for supporting your frontline troops when they are up against something they can't handle like guards or tank hunter spam. Like the other ability it could cause lots of problems, but I'm just listing some ideas.
Feel free to comment and post other ideas for the officer.
