Using custom skins with Eastern Front
« on: May 08, 2013, 03:58:05 AM »
Hey all

I was looking for better skins for the Wehrmacht/Panzer Elite so I installed a modpack. The instructions said to overwrite WW2art which I did and now the Soviets skins particularly buildings are a mix of US and Wehrmacht. I'm guessing by replacing WW2art I have overwritten the Soviet textures so i'd like to know if there is any way to use this skin pack with EF.

The skinpack in question can be found here: newbielink:http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=830740&st=0 [nonactive]

Thanks for any help.

afaik nearly all skin and sound packs leads into problems with ef
maybe we will add in the future an alternative installer for skins

but here is nothing set in stones yet

if you prefer other unit skins the best way yet is to replace them one by one per hand

AFAIK the result is the same if you change them manually or if you use a custom installer :-\.

Can anyone possibly make this skinpack compatible or give me instructions on how to do so?
