game does not launch

I install eastern front right because it is in the company of heroes folder the relaunch one, the game always says it is up to date and when I click the play button steam shows that I am running the game but then it just disappears like I ended the game, the default game works fine, and I have the directory set up to the right folder. I don't know what to do I tried to uninstall the launcher, I checked my local files I am at a lost here because I don't know what to do.

Have you checked the CoH Directory option in the EF Launcher Settings window? Does it has the right path?

like I said yes it has the right path. when I click play my steam name changes green and it say that I am playing it but only for few sec then it switches off and nothing loads

Are you sure that you picked the "Company of Heroes Relaunch" folder in the installation? Is there an "Eastern_Front" folder in your Steamapps/common/Company of Heroes Relaunch" directory?

try going into your company of heroes relaunch folder. it should contain a folder that says Company of Heroes. open it and copy all the Eastern front stuff to the Company of heroes relaunch directory. it will take some time because in total there are over 50,000 files. it should work then because it did for me
