About the IL2 Sturmovik

This ability sort of stumps me. When I use it, sometimes planes will fly by and do their thing, but sometimes nothing happens at all. Pre-latest patch, lots of planes fly by a lot. To be honest, the panzer elite's similar ability (Henshel Hs 129) has me confused as well since it behaves like that too. I'm not here to gripe about the IL2 Sturmovik ability being OP or what not, but am just hoping for someone to explain to me about how this ability works, nuances, etc.

The way to use the IL-2 is to defend your area, because it will only attack units in the area, so that is the main reason that no planes can be seen flying. When there are units (and as long as you have sight in the area) the IL-2 will attack enemy units in the area.

The funniest thing I ever saw the sturmovik do was I was in a 2v2 with my buddy vs 2 USSR guys I ran 3 PE Panthers into the one Soviet base and he dropped IL2... I dodged the bomb runs and used it against him... even though they where in our base doing damage we won because of stupidity on his part... FYI People... if you are Soviet and you use a IL2 in your base... your an idiot...

Why moderators leave people to throw insults ?

Calling someone idiot is an insult,and this mane already done that.

If you look at the context of the statement I said that people who use the IL-2 in their command territory to kill an opponent are idiots... I did not call anyone an idiot directly... I want to right now but I won't... Stop trying to pick a fight and get people banned

What is written in the end ? You call someone idiot.In exchange you can get from he the same.This thing bring  nothing good.

I really don't like when people bet banned,and i don't suggest that.I suggest just for moderators to make clear rules,to be saw and followed by all people.When they don't know to be informed,when they refuse,to be warned,and if such behavior continue,to be banned for short time.If the person continue to don't respect anything...must be decided...

I suggest to be taken as example this forum,from this mod mod,from another game,where the team is from Russia,and talks are carefully analyzed,and conflicts don't exist because are stopped from the "child phase".

That place is the most warm and constructive place from all forums visited by me.That mod have speed of the rocket,because developers and moderators directed power of the masses or community power in constructive things/direction.There can be made critics and all are analyzed seriously.Fans are very appreciated,informed if don't know something,and with calm and kind speach,their souls are "enslaved",and they will work hard in allot of important and necessary directions.Enormous work,impossible to be made by developers,is made by fans. 

Law there is mentained from persons with good hearth,who punish just where is no other option,but if is necessary,they don't hesitate to to "pull the trigger".
