What are Pios?

Call me an idiot, but what are these spammable Pios I keep hearing about? Pioneers?

In a word, yes.

If you ever hear the term "pyros" it is just a flamer squad of these.

I was confused too when I started to play CoH long time ago :)
Here's some dictionary, might help.

For Soviet army there could be some dictionary too:
T1 - Mustering tent
T2 - Support barracks
T3 - Tank Hall
Inz, Engies, Eng - Inzenery
Comm, Commander - Commander squad
Sturm Inz - Sturmovie inzenery
PTRD - AT rifle squad
Zis2, 57mm - AT gun
Hero, Elite sniper - Sniper hero
TR - Tank riders
Zveroboy, Beastkiller - ISU152

...etc feel free to extend this vocabulary

So yea "pio" means pioneer, lots of confusing words in coh world.
