Is AI cheating? or it is a bug?

I played EF with uncle on map Cottbus vs. normal wehrmacht and hard PE. There are 2 passages. Unlce was chosen Soviets, I chose Americans.
1st bug
I was defending right passage (fixed positions, no.2) close to my base and it was working. Uncle wasn't that luck and haven't enough experience so he has problems defending his passage. So I made 3 more ATs and send them to help him to defend. First 2 ATs come without problems. Third has problems.
It was because Germans come through forest and kill crew of third AT while he was moving. Later I tried to go through forest but couldn't do it.
IS THAT A BUG (moving through forest)? I think it is. Or CPU is cheating?
2nd bug.
Before crew was dead I send AT back to my base. Crew were killled while there were pushing AT but AT continue driving without crew.
3rd bug
Uncle was with Soviets and he wasn't getting ammo (I was getting around 30 per minute). We were same team and we had captured 2-3 ammo sectors. Later, uncle was playing alone one game with Soviets and he captured all sectors and he was getting only 9 ammo per minute.
IS THAT A BUG or it is normal for Soviets?

P.S. Why Soviets can't capture ATs, MGs, Mortars and similar?
My father think that it is because they don't know how to use it.

ok. First - I wish my uncle could play with me  ;D lucky you
1st. It often happens - I mean when somebody makes map in editor, he could not forsee or took attention and he left small passage through the trees.
2nd. Yea, I saw this bug a hunderds of times and it's nothing special. The AT doesn't drive a lot of distance.
3rd. Soviets have ammo upkeep for most of their heavy units ( like AT guns, tanks, etc). It means that your uncle was getting less ammo, because he had to have some heavy weapons on the field.
Soviets can't recrew weapons for now, but next patch will change it hopefully. Sooo wait for 1.30.

It is solved in the upcoming patch, thanks to the brilliant work by Cope (one of the Devs).
This is a coding problem: no new faction' units can capture any heavy weapons. It is due to lack of help from Relic.

It's a bug of the game itself, not  one of the mod (it happens in vanilla  game as well).

Tnx. I didn't know for ammo upkeep.
I rememberd one more thing:
Father was playing EF on Hochwald with Amers vs. Wehr.
Father was losing so he made Tank traps on main bridge (2 rows) but Puma crush them.
And infantry bridge was destroyed but infantry was walking through water. I do not know is it normal because I often lose because units (infantry and vehicles) can cross rivers on many places. Only while playing EF maps (except Leningrad).

Puma crushed tank traps  :o
I've never seen this before. Are you sure that were tank traps?
And sometimes there is shallow water, but I don't remember if there was some kind of this error on Hochwald Gap. There was topic like this, about swimming partisan I guess...

The traps may not have been completed.  Then I think they can be run over.  Or if damaged during build, eng's dont finish them, but they look like they are finished, same result.

Tank Traps were finished. Maybe AT destroyed them while he was firing on Puma.
P.S. I have one more uncle who plays this but he is in Croatian Army and he is sent to Afganistan so he don't plays it often.

I thought the same  ;)
BTW, my brothers are quite good in first-preson-shoters, and we often play together.

About those tanktraps: it's rather strange that puma crossed them, I mean even Brit HQ truck can't cross unfinished tank traps... looks like somebody destroyed them first.

The units are able to walk through the forest because the forest model is buggy and should only be used outside the playable area (some Mappers are too lazy to make the whole map so they fill gaps with them).

I must say EF is much harder then CoH. I played Blitzkrieg and it is even more harder. But winter holidays are now so I have time to learn them. 8)
