First, some history -

Quote from: Wikipedia
Pavlov's House (Russian: дом Павлова—dom Pavlova) became the name of a fortified apartment building during the Battle of Stalingrad from 27 September 1942 to February 2, 1943. It gained its popular name from Sergeant Yakov Pavlov, who commanded the platoon that seized the building and defended it during the long battle.
As you probably got from that short history lesson, this is a historical map set in Stalingrad around the famous/infamous 'Pavlovs House'. The map is based on actual aerial pictures on the area around Pavlovs House, although I have taken some Artistic licence and cratered the fuck out of it ;)

Although the house itself isn't anything special (I haven't made it indestructible or anything), it is a semi-strategic position on the map as it is next to two Victory Points (in VP mode), overlooks a High Munition point, has windows on all sides and is perhaps the only safe building on the map (that is, it's not on the verge of collapse)

Its seems pretty cool, but why don't you just put it in the next patch, so everyone will have it?

lol, Seeme... I love your optimism...

I could leave it for the patch, but i'd like to Beta test this since Zhytomyr flopped like a fat man falling from a building. I have no idea when the patch will be released, but hopefully it won't be too long... if people get off their sphincters...

Great work, I like this map, especially the square, but on the 3rd pic the ruins seem a bit empty, just like there are only walls of buildings that haven't been finished. You know, you could place some furniture objects or destroyed roofs. Keep up the great work  ;)

The map runs good afaik. On my PC anyway. There's no massive lag spikes, you can see my FPS in the top left hand corner on the images, keeping in mind that my FPS drops a little when taking screenshots.

Added a tactical map as requested.

Sorry I haven't uploaded yet... 4 days till Uni deadlines, having to work like a madman.

Not so sure about the VP layout. I tried placing them horizontally but the fighting was too widespread for my liking, I love epic matches where people all concentrate on taking a single VP leading to some fierce VP battles.

Also, the fuels are all low, Tanks don't come for a while, making this map quite an infantry/light vehicle fest.

I wouldn't mind some Resource layout and VP layout pointers, i'm always shit at laying this stuff out effectively.

Put the 16+munis to corner 5+ fuels, add 10+ fuel at the 16+ muni spots.
That should give the players something worth fighting for whoever holds the middle has the fuel = win

+1. Truly, the middle must be worth it, so the most resources have to be 'round it.
