Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
« on: September 14, 2011, 01:58:17 AM »
For all the Eastern Front history buffs here I'm surprised this hasn't gotten a thread.

Has anybody played the game yet? Supposedly it has a German SP campaign. Impossible! :P

it is not a real campaign
it is few loosely connected missions with bots instead of players
as usual they promised too much :D

Have only played a couple of hours on the SP so far as I've been busy, but I've quite liked it. Very intense experience and interesting gunplay - don't like the way it forces you to have your class picked randomly every time you die though...kept getting anti-tank class on an infantry map  :P

The campaign is supposed to teach you the basics, not really tell a story.

IMO its just awesome, I just hate that if your team sucks you are quite fucked.

Apparently your German Commander (or at least the anouncer) is Voss, or his twin brother.

They have the same exact voice actor. When he first spoke I exclaimed, "Hey! It's that guy!" :P
