It will be fixed soon enough, my only real problem with the game is that you can't de-attach the bayonet of a rifle, or deploy a MkB42 without a scope once you have unlocked it.

Hmm. Strange. I didnt get the drum mag ;S Do I have to get a special amount of lvls to get the upgrade maybe?

I have to say Iam a little disapointed. The first RO were really focusing on realism. They had many guns. Mostly because they existed . Some of them sucked just like IRL.

cough*!G41 *cough!*

That was sweet.
In RO2 there are some guns missing. Like the ppd40. I liked that one :o
Kind of sad ;/

You gain a new thing (usually) at level 25 and then at level 35 IIRC.  The DP-28 doesn't even get any upgrades (THE HELL MAN, GIVE IT SOME KIND OF INCREASED FIRE RATE OR SOMETHING). I would love to see a Bazooka for the AT specialist, as Lend-Lease provided plenty of those things. It would be nice to see a PPS-42 later on, even if it is one of the more prototype variants.

The PPD-40 was pretty much phased out of service by Stalingrad, and most of the men equipped with those things were the NKVD Border Troops not regular Infantry formations

There will be only weapons used in Stalingrad, not any later models.

This game is balanced in everyway. Every Army has its strengths and weaknesses and you use your strengths to attack the enemy's weakness. If both players know this, than it turns into a game of skill.

Right and they have 100% percent proof that the MkB42 (H) was in Stalingrad. And the Battle of Stalingrad raged between 1942-43, they could have G43s their near the end

Were you ironic there Neosdark or not? (You never know on the internet XD) because I see people who claims it did see action in Stalingrad and those who says the opposite :o

Well the ppd40 maybe its okey. But what about an GERMAN anti tank rifles. Does existed for the time being ( dont remember the name sadly.) or the mp41 ( We had them in the first game <3) or hell, the ptrd 41 anti tank rifle?

Kind of bad of Tripwire. Why take away something good from the first game and dont have it in the sequel? ;C

I wasn't being ironic, I was being serious.

The MP-41 is nothing other than a MP40 with a wooden stock.

German AT rifles were all single round weapons, so a capture Soviet PTRS makes sense. However, the German Panzerbusche 39 and the PTRD would have been better choices, especially considering the PTRD was Vasily Zaytsev's weapon of choice (he had a Scope mounted on his PTRD) and both of these weapons were much more reliable than the PTRS.

As for the MkB42, I believe it served there because I love experimental weaponry, and the Germans believed in thorough field testing, which would lead me to believe that there were at least a few of them at Stalingrad. I just don't like the scope attachment to it, that's plain unrealistic. The MP43 had scope brackets, but the StG44 and MkB42 (H) (nor the MkB42 (W) for that matter) didn't not have them.

Then again they could (and probably will) add them at a later date.

I thought he used a Mosin Nagant Rifle with a scope ???. Or maybe that was just the movie ;D
