The fact 3 of them died surprisses me :P. 20 T-34s should've killed that Tiger in th first salvo :P. Especially if they had 85mm upgrade.

maybe he was attacking the tiger in a line, like pitting the t-34's against it one by one.

Even in a line, it shouldn't take 3 T-34s to kill one lone Tiger if they have 85mm upgrade :-\. Even w/o upgrade they still might win.

The only reason they would be in a straight line in a regular match is if they were all on a bridge and there were tank traps  ::). But at that point we all know what happens ::)

I think I know why a few of my T-34s kill that tank, it was a king tiger, my mistake. they had 76mm upgrade for it is easier to make. Either some of them were already damaged or the other t-34s didn't come quickly enough or were simply not close enough to attack that kt.

Oh well a KT is another story. But 20 T-34s should have still been able to kill that KT with minimial casualties, especially with 85mm upgrade. If they are all circling it or at least trying toi get around it, the KT's turret will be too slow in order to target on T-34 for too long.

But then again you have 20 T-34s. So all rules basically go out the window :P

especially with 85mm upgrade

remember, all of them had 76mm gun. none of them were trying to get around the kt. as i've said, not all of them got close enough to fire at the kt, and a few were already damaged, which were most likely the t34s that got killed.

Well then if thats the case get closer :P. Im not trying to sound like an ass but if you are out of range and have enough tanks to win, close the distance ASAP. Its like Volks and Rifles. If they are out of range then close the distance quickly or die.

And if your T-34s are damaged retreat them. No T-34 should have to die cause there is 19 other T-34s behind it and wont move :P

T-34s should have to die if they can't survive whatever's thrown at them     ::). But whatever, how would t-34 do against allied tanks? not that they would ever fight them, how many t-34s does it take to take out an m26?

They shouldn't be dying the way you describe. I mean a Sherman can take like 3-4 hits from a 88 gun before dying and we consider that a good tank :P. The same goes for the T-34. IIRC it has slightly less health but keep in mind it cost way less so its more spammable :P. You just need to repair it and its fiine.

And as for a T-34 against a Pershing? Well thats not really looked into when it comes to typical game play. You would need some data for that. But if it takes 3 T-34s to kill a Tiger than Im assuming it takes 3 to kill a Pershing :P. Or less if you micro is good and the Pershing is alone (which it probably wont be :P)

When i'm just screwing around with cpus, i get careless with russian units. a lot of the time, they just die away. when i'm playing for real, either against people or hard cpus, i play for real. I repair my tanks and such. Against easy cpus, they die away.

yup! But when it comes to Allied armor, does going around and hitting their rear armor effective? I know that i don't have to do this, but does it work?

Hitting the rear armor of ANY tank is ALWAYS more effective than simply assualting the front. No matter where the shot came from its is always better to flank :P
