I've tested some new "rain" textures a few week ago. Heavy snowfall is not a problem but a blizzard looks a little crappy if you move the camera on the battlefield or rotate the camera angle.

i would actually prefer no blizzard in actual play, as it would block vision, but as fish said about a campaign.....

That's because they're mounds of snow, not haystacks. However they do have little rocks in them which looks a bit strange (DX10).

It is indeed a beautiful map. Excellent choice of detail and weather/strategy point placement. Can't wait to be fighting a tourney game here!
