New Mapping Project!
« on: October 11, 2012, 10:58:05 PM »
Well ladies and gents, I have finished yet another mapping project and believe it or not, I am actually starting to run out of ideas. Although there are countless battles to create scenarios for, it is far easier to have somebody else to choose for you. I am willing to make just about anything!

So, while my workload out of the mod is increasing I am leaving this poll open, so that when my workload lessens for the holiday (in two weeks time), I can begin work on the map of your choice!

Please vote! Everybody has three votes (just in case you want to see more than just one thing), and if you have a specific scenario you would like to see, vote and leave a comment! Even if it doesn't win the poll, it will certainly go on my to-do list!

Also, if you happen to choose "Other?", please comment and let me know what exactly you prefer! I can easily add more categories to the list!

What about creating a map where you fight inside a building? There are alot of industry objects in the WB. Somehow i liked the maps of C&C red alert inside a building complex.
Also a similar map of battle of mahiljou seems nice. Something russian like (open wide planes and wooden villages)

As long as somebody makes some 1v1s I'm happy.
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

No Walkisch, we need competitive 1v1 maps. Don't distract him from his divine task!

I would like open industry/city 1v1 or 2v2 maps (Other options). Like Langres or Angoville with a city/industry atmosphere.
I'm drunk now, I'm outranked you in philosophy.

Firstly, consider it done!

Thirdly, I'm flattered.

Who said that SP maps won't be adapted to MP?

Fourthly, is it easier to convert from SP to MP, or from MP to SP?

And finally, I'm loving the amount of ideas that people are coming out with! I'm impressed! But whether you have a specific idea or not, don't forget to vote! Something tells me that this is going to be a busy poll before the end...

Campaign maps are usually bigger than they should be and making maps smaller is definitly a lot easier ;).

There we have it! SP it is!

Also, I couldn't help but laugh to see that every category has at least one vote, bar swampland.

You guys!

It looks like Hill maps are winning! Although personally I am always daunted by the openness of hill maps, I can see this being quite interesting... Still, there's time yet!
