So is the ISU-152 is a tank that fires Hummel/105mm HE rounds?  Or like in between a Stuh and a Howitzer?

It has a 152mm main cannon, which is slightly bigger than the Hummel (150mm). The shell itself deals high damage with decent splash, no matter if it hits a tank or not. It also supresses infantry units when it hits them.

The stats for the ISU-152's gun are different from the hummels however, though im not sure if you were talking from an in-game perspective or historical perspective

Talking about which is more leathal ingame.  So I'm assuming the isu gun is more better vs infantry?

Well after taking alook at its stats, its stats are nowhere as good as a hummel, and makes me feel that it was overnerfed

Like right now it has a splash radius of only 3, while for comparison a tiger has a splash radius of 5.3, and a hummels is 8

alos the damage of a hummel is 200 while the damage of the isu is 185. other than that there really is not much else to compare as the guns of the hummel and ISU function completely different

I really think though that the ISU152 was overnerfed, as it has a very long reload with not much bang to it. I honestly think it would have been completely fine to just remove the stun and leave it at that, and if the splash damage was too much i could have added a shrapnel effect or something

In terms of absolute stats, it is. However, you need to keep in mind that axis squads are generally smaller than allied squads, so the splash still hits them harder than the Tiger hits riflemen for example.

This is true, but axis squads also have higher health, which is why I propose adding shrapnel effect, basically infantry outside of a certain range will take some damage, but won't be killed. I was working on this in corsix before all my stuff got erased, but I'm can definitely recreate it

ISU-152 IMO is overnerfed a bit. But that is just me. Still does wonders killing vehicles.

The shrapnel thing is a pretty good idea ;D You could make some black stuff that shoot out around the explosion to look like shrapnel, would be really cool.

About the ISU though, really think that the barrage skill it has right now is kinda useless. Since the first shot hits the ground to early to hit the target, and the 2nd shot overshoots it.
Don't really think the barrage fits the ISU imo.

Would be more useful with a longshot ability or something to that effect and you could give the KV-2 a barrage ability instead.

Yes, we also noticed that the barrage is completely useless the way it is at the moment. For the next patch we'll test several options. The idea to use the KV 2 for the barrage instead is actually a pretty good idea. We'll definately try that out in the internal version I guess. If it works out well we'll include it :)

KV-2 for sure, but the KV2 has shit accuracy and balance against tanks, so it balances out

Unfortunately there was one even better situation where it killed like 12 landsers in one hit but I didnt manage to do a screenshot of that  :P

It's definately a beast, especially with veterancy :)
